Skin Cancer Checks

Australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world. Skin cancers account for around 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers. The majority of skin cancers in Australia are caused by exposure to UV radiation in sunlight. It is important to check your skin regularly and check with your doctor if you notice any changes. Early diagnosis and treatment reduce melanoma mortality and non-melanoma skin cancer morbidity.

Dr Kiley and Dr Lackner can perform skin cancer checks, do biopsy, remove lesions and if required can provide you with a referral to a dermatologist.

They can also remove benign skin lesions, typically around the neck and face, using radiofrequency for cosmetic purposes. (Refer to Cosmetic Skin and Vein Treatments page)

There is an out-of-pocket fee $36.40 for skin checks (concessions may apply) and $50 – $150 depending on surgical treatment

Early detection saves lives. So don’t delay, book your skin check today!
