Skin Cancer Checks

Australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world. Skin cancers account for around 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers. The majority of skin cancers in Australia are caused by exposure to UV radiation in sunlight. It is important to check your skin regularly and check with your doctor if you notice any changes. Early diagnosis and treatment reduce melanoma mortality and non-melanoma skin cancer morbidity.

We perform our Skin Checks at Advanced Skin Cancer Centre (ASCC) where a Skin Cancer Doctor will use cutting-edge FOTOFINDER technology to magnify and track suspicious moles.

We provide appointments at our 3 locations in Mulgrave, Dandenong and Berwick.

Dr KileyDr Lackner, Dr Herath and Dr Ankur Bansal can perform skin cancer checks, do biopsy and removal of lesions.

They can also remove benign skin lesions, typically around the neck and face, using radiofrequency for cosmetic purposes. (Refer to Cosmetic Skin and Vein Treatments page)

This is a 15 minute skin cancer check using state-of-the-art Fotofinder technology for mole photography and video dermoscopy.

There is a $150 (pensioners $130) fee for full skin cancer checks.
