We are pleased to be planning the introduction of a dedicated GP Allergy Clinic in 2027, providing assessment, investigation and management of common allergic conditions.
The clinic will offer support with:
- Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) – assessment and investigation, including blood tests and skin prick testing (SPT), with consideration of allergen immunotherapy.
- Food-triggered eczema – assessment of possible food triggers and advice on management.
- Food-triggered allergic reactions – assessment and management of anaphylaxis, urticaria (hives) and angioedema (swelling).
- Asthma management – reviewing and optimising asthma treatment, particularly where allergy may be contributing.
- Allergic conjunctivitis – assessment and management of allergy-related eye symptoms.
