For 25 years I have been working with clients of all ages to help them improve their psychological health and well-being. I am trained as a Generalist Psychologist, and I’ve been fortunate to work in a wide range of roles including in Community Corrections, Employment Services, Welfare Services, health coaching and assessment in Weight Loss (Bariatric) Clinics and in private practice. My focus is to assist clients achieve their goals and create a rich and meaningful life by tuning into their values and aspirations.
I have experience working with clients (18 +) overcome anxiety, depression, grief, poor body image, carer fatigue and chronic health issues. I have a particular area of interest in supporting young women aged 18-35 years navigate life’s challenges with strength, resilience and determination in addition to supporting clients with health coaching and weight management. Working with clients and supporting them with their challenges, remains one of my greatest privileges and motivates me to continue developing my own best practices.
I have received extensive training in solution-focused, cognitive behavioural and acceptance and commitment therapy approaches. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a member of the APS Psychology of Eating, Weight and Body-image and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Interest Groups.
