Dr Sangeeta Bansal is one of the 4 principal partners at Valewood Clinic and grew up locally. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Melbourne and went on to complete postgraduate studies, obtaining a specialist general practice qualifications as Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and in Occupational Health. She is a GP supervisor and educator.
Dr Bansal enjoys all areas of General Practice and has a keen interest in Occupational Health, Women’s and Children’s Medicine, Aged Care, Mental Health, and Incontinence. She is also trained in administering intravenous iron infusions.
Dr Bansal also speaks Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
In her spare time, she loves cooking and watching movies with her 2 sons, while occasionally conceding defeat in the board game of Monopoly.
