Dr George Stabelos was born and bred in Melbourne and completed his degrees in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Sydney. He has over 30 years experience in health care.
His professional special interests include General Family Medical Practice, Musculoskeletal Pain, including Arthritis, Rheumatism & Sports Medicine, Aged Care, Occupational Medicine, Preventive Health, Nutritional and Lifestyle Medicine, Men’s, and Children’s Health.
George has consulted as a doctor in emergency departments and wards at the Box Hill, The Angliss, Maroondah, and The Royal Children’s Hospitals and following this, in community based general practice for more than 10 years. He is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Stabelos has also completed post-graduate courses in Occupational Health Medicine, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic), a Graduate Diploma in Exercise & Sports Sciences and has qualifications in Acupuncture and Laser Therapy.
He enjoys running, weight training and travel and is married with three children.
He is fluent in the English and Greek Languages and is now accepting new patients.
