What is Pelleve?
Pelleve is a radiofrequency device that is used for skin tightening and rejuvenation.
It is a gentle, non-invasive treatment with no downtime.
How does it work?
Pelleve uses radiofrequency to gently heat deep into the skin. This causes the collagen contraction, along with the generation of new collagen and elastin strands.
This gives you both an immediate, but temporary tightening, (great before an event) and long term results over time to help slow down the ageing process by assisting with fine lines, skin laxity and improving the overall condition of the skin.
What areas can I have treated?
Popular areas to be treated with Pelleve are the face, neck, decolletage and even the backs of the hands.
What can I expect after my treatment?
Your skin will feel warm and tight. There may be some redness and mild swelling that will resolve quickly, usually within a few hours.
How many treatments are required?
You will require a series of treatments spaced around 4 weeks apart. On completion of your series, occasional maintenance treatments will be required to preserve your results.
Everyone’s skin is different and thorough consultation with your trained technician will be able to determine the number of sessions needed for your skin.
Am I suitable for this treatment?
A thorough consultation with your technician will be required before you may have treatment to determine your suitability.
Pacemakers and nerve insensitivity are among the potential contraindications for this treatment.
