AUDIOMETRY

Valewood Clinic provides onsite Audiometry Testing with percentage hearing loss calculation. Unique software developed by Bridge Street Clinic allows for results to be interpreted and reported on, in terms of percentage loss calculation taking into consideration such variables as age and sex. All results are stored in our computerised database.

It is recommended that Audiometry Testing be performed at the start of the worker’s shift before they have been exposed to noise.

All pre-employment medical performed at Valewood Clinic included a full Audiogram with percentage loss calculation. This establishes the hearing status of the candidate before commencement of work and also provides a base line for hearing concerns in the future.
